The Octagon House

The eight-sided historic structure is included in the Encyclopedia of Alabama. The home is owned by the City of Clayton and is listed as an Alabama Historical Landmark and is included in the National Register of Historic Places. It was built by Benjamin Franklin Petty between 1859 and 1861.
